Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service soldiers conduct refit training at the Besmaya Range Complex in Iraq, Feb. 9-Mar. 6, 2019. The four-week training evaluates and advances the tactical skills of Iraqi Special Operations Forces and ends with battalion-level exercise that combines each company’s specialty into a complex, full-mission profile scenario. Coalition Forces advise and assist the Iraqi instructors as part of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve’s commitment to working by, with and through our partner forces to set conditions for regional stability and prevent the resurgence of Daesh.
