Peshmerga soldiers conduct a squad attack exercise at Bnaslawa Training Center near Erbil, Iraq, May 22, 2019. The exercise was led by Peshmerga trainers under the guidance of Italian Army instructors. The soldiers are among more than 500 Peshmerga soldiers participating in 10 weeks of training with the support of Coalition Forces. At the invitation of the Government of Iraq, members of the Global Coalition provide training and advice to local forces in support of the enduring mission to defeat Daesh.
