A U.S. Army Soldier with Apache Troop Res, 2nd Cavalry Regiment digs defense obstacles with a D6 dozer on June 16, 2019, during Operation Saber Guardian 19, at Cincu, Romania. The engineers spent the day building defensive obstacles in preparation for a force-on-force training exercise against the Romania army. Saber Guardian 2019 is an exercise co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe, taking place from June 3-24, to enhance joint and combined interoperability across a variety of mission sets between Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the U.S. NATO allies and Partnership for Peace Nations.
