Sgt. Benjamin Cleland and Sgt. 1st Class Brandon Green from the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit's Service Rifle Team demonstrate how to fire from the seated position to attendees of the Rifle Small Arms Firing School that was held prior to the Civilian Marksmanship Program's Eastern Games in Butner, North Carolina in April.
USAMU Soldiers regularly contribute to CMP Small Arms Firing Schools as a way to educate and advance marksmanship skills across the United States. The courses typical cover firearms safety and competition techniques that could help the attendees with the upcoming course of fire.
If you are interested in attending a school, make sure you check out the CMP website (http://thecmp.org/) or their Facebook page for details.
