On June 28th, 1968, congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, merging four similar military remembrance holidays to create what is now known as Memorial Day. Petty Officer 3rd Class Kyleigh Williams visited Matthew C. Perry High School to see how they honored those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.
