Colonel Richard Marcinko, Delaware Army National Guard Medical Detachment Hospital Commander, provided critical care to a resident of Maricao who came into the facility with a condition that potentially could have become life-threatening. Colonel Marcinko took immediate action to give the patient the correct medication to turn the situation around.
IRT Ola De Esperanza Sanadora is a medical mission with over 510 military participants that provide health care at no cost to patients during a two-week medical exercise (April 28th through May 5th 2019) throughout six locations: Ponce,Maricao,Mayagüez ,Jayuya,Lares & Yauco in Puerto Rico.
