U.S. Army Sgt. William Crenshaw, a Paratrooper assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, performs color guard duties at the 2019 NBA All-Star Game in Charlotte, North Carolina, Feb. 17, 2019. Crenshaw and his team were selected to present the colors during the playing of the “Star Spangled Banner.” The playing of the National Anthem during sporting events started in 1931 and that traditions continues still today.
