[BESMAYA, IRAQ] – Students in the Iraqi Counter-Terrorism Service’s second school participated in explosive ordnance disposal familiarization at a range complex in Besmaya, Iraq, Dec. 16, 2018. The Iraqi CTS Academia consists of three schools: Initial Entry Training, Special Operations Qualification, and Special Operations Advanced Training. Together, the Coalition and Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) will develop a sustainable and inclusive ISF that can secure its sovereign borders, protect the population and support a return to normalcy across the country and ensure the lasting defeat of ISIS.
