Members of the D.C. National Guard Honor Guard practice for the WWI Centennial Observance to be held at 10:30 a.m., on Nov. 11, at the D.C. War Memorial on the National Mall.
The ceremony, hosted by the Association of the Oldest Inhabitants of D.C. and D.C. National Guard, will observe the centenial of the armistice that brought to an end WWI and honor the 499 residents who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to country during the Great War.
