As we celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the U.S. Air Force Reserve the 315th Airlift Wing decided to celebrate its own heritage with a new wing mission video – A Legacy of Valor. The video looks back on the unit’s forefathers of the 315th Troop Carrier Group and their critical role in the D-Day invasion that helped turn the tide in Europe toward the end of World War II. At the same time, the video gives a summary of the 315th’s current mission and how its current generation of Citizen Airmen are continuing on this great legacy.
