Air Force Staff Sgt. Betty Dumas provides a tour of the Hyperbaric Medical Clinic at Brooke Army Medical Center April 23 in San Antonio, Texas. The Fort Worth District military construction project and clinic uses oxygen therapy to treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries. The design of the new clinic is such that when you look at the number of patients and scope of their injuries, this will effectively bring the medical treatment exactly where it is most needed. "The collaborative effort with our Fort Worth and BAMC team was to achieve an important goal; a state-of-the-art medical facility that will provide the best possible care for our Nation's heroes," said Col. Calvin C. Hudson II, commander, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District. Thousands of veterans and their families, along with trauma patients, are expected to use the clinic every year.
