Soldiers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division (Ft Stewart, GA) and Iraqi District Advisory Council members cut the ribbon on a new bridge near Camp Rustamiyah in southern Baghdad. This project is one of many road and infrastructure improvements completed or underway under the guidance of the leaders and citizens of Tissa Nissan in partnership with1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment. Before the completion of this bridge, many Iraqis were at heavy risk of car bombs and I.E.D.s due to traffic congestion. The project also produced jobs as well as increased security for Iraqi people.
