American and Japanese students from the Iwakuni community marked the beginning of the New Year by artfully writing down words of good fortune. Lance Corporal Jason Kolela grabbed some ink and brushes and headed over to Waki Elementary to see why these words are important to write. This video story includes soundbites from Col Richard Fuerst from Wadsworth, Ohio and Yoshinori Okada from Waki, Yamaguchi.
