Air Mobility Command’s first Mobility Guardian exercise marks the last exercise for an active duty C-130H Hercules. With all other active duty wings now transitioned to the J-model, Yokota Air Base, Japan’s 374th Airlift Wing is the last remaining active duty wing flying this model. Since the J models don’t have flight engineers, this also means the end of an era for one flight engineer, Chief Master Sergeant Michael Simkins.
