U.S. Marines with 2d Combat Engineer Battalion,(2DCEB) 2nd Marine Division (2D MARDIV), Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 366 and 464, 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (2D MAW), conduct an external lift and helicopter insertion exercise aboard CH-53E Super Stallions, starting at Landing Zone Osprey and ending at Landing Zone Dodo, on Camp Lejeune, N.C., June 6-7, 2017. The purpose of the exercise was to increase company proficiency in commanding and controlling forces, helicopter insertions, and engineer reconnaissance operations.
