U.S. Marines of 3D Battalion 12th Marines, perform preventative maintenance checks on their equipment while on Hijudai Maneuver Area, Japan, Feb. 23, 2017. The Marines are in the final stages of prepartion prior to their participation in the artillery relocation training program. The purpose of this training is to provide timely and accurate fires to on fixed locations, sustain military occupational speciality skills, and promote the overall goal of enhancing combat operational readiness.
