Paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division and the British Army’s 3rd Battalion, Parachute
Regiment, 16 Air Assault Brigade, assemble for a change of command ceremony at Fort Bragg,
N.C.’s Pike Field August 2nd, 2016. The ceremony marked the end of Major General Richard
Clarke’s, and the beginning of Major General Erik Kurilla’s command of the 82nd Airborne
Division. Clarke will continue to serve the Army as the Vice Director of Strategic Plans and
Policy for the Joint Staff at the Pentagon.
