The bridge team of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) prepares to get the ship underway from Naval Base San Diego (NBSD) for a scheduled deployment. More than 4,500 Sailors and Marines from Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (13th MEU) departed San Diego today for a deployment to the U.S. 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operations.
