A ceremony took place to honor crew members of the USS Cole on the fifteenth anniversary of the tragedy. The U.S. Navy destroyer was attacked by a small boat during a brief refueling stop in the harbor of Aden, Yemen in 2000. The suicide terrorist attack killed 17 members of the crew, wounded 37 others, and seriously damaged the ship. The ceremony honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
