Sights and sounds of the 70th Anniversary Commemoration of the Liberation of Salzburg and Austria by the 3rd Infantry Division at Arlington National Cemetery on May 28, 2015.
Ambassador Peter Manz, Embassy of Austria, Mayor of Salzburg Dr. Heinz Schaden, World War II veterans, who were with the 3rd Infantry Division, John Miller II, John Keller, Robert Dutil, William Weinberg, U.S. Army (Ret.) Capt. C. Monika Stoy and LTC Timothy Stoy participated in the events which included a ceremony at the Memorial Amphitheater and a wreath laying at the 3rd Infantry Division Monument and at the grave of Audie Murphy. Murphy, one of the most decorated WWII soldiers including the Medal of Honor, was part of the 3rd ID.
