Yokota Air Base has one of only two tactical airlift squadrons in the Pacific. In the case of a natural disaster, the base would conduct a non-combatant evacuation operation and would partner with the Alaska Air National Guard from the 144th Airlift Squadron, Elmendorf Air Base to get the mission done.
