Nashville Mayor Karl Dean is partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers this Memorial Day weekend to encourage everyone to be safe boating and swimming, and to wear a life jacket. Dean has served as the mayor of Music City since September 2007 and works to sustain the city’s quality of life through initiatives that promote health, sustainability and volunteerism.
