Dustin Lukasiewicz, UH-1Y pilot assigned to Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 469 and Nepalese Special Forces Capt. Subash Jung Thapa. The Nepalese government requested assistance after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck the country April 25. The U.S. government ordered JTF 505 to provide unique capabilities to assist Nepal.
