U.S. Marines with the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band and 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marines receive
various classes via the Republic of Korea (ROK) training instructors at Mountain Warfare Training Center,
Pohang, Republic of Korea, on 16 March 2015. During the classes the U.S. Marines conducted physical
training, learned to tie different knots and repelled down the tower, all of which was taught and overseen
by the ROK Marines. The U.S. and Republic of Korea (ROK) Marines coordinate operations together to
enhance interoperability between the two services. This exercise is a tribute to the maturity of the ROK-U.S.
relationship. (U.S. Marine Corps Motion Imagery by MCIPAC Combat Camera Lance Cpl. Jacob A. Hug)
