The island of Ta in the Federated States of Micronesia was hit by a road wave in December 2014. Some of the affected vegetation on the island turned into a yellow-green color or simply died and lost all vegetation. This happened during Operation Christmas Drop 2014. USAid requested video footage of the island and Yokota Airlifters were able to support Public Affairs personnel to fly over and get imagery of the island.
