On 26 January 2011 an Engineering Civil Affair Project (ENCAP) is held at Huai Chot Khok Saa School, Nam Phong District, Khon Kaen Province, Kingdom of Thailand by soldiers from 56th Engineer Company Vertical, 6th Engineer Battalion, United States Army and engineers from the Royal Thai Air Force in support of Operation Cobra Gold 2011. The ENCAP is used to provide new structures to schools and communities for the benefit of the Thai people. Cobra Gold 2011 provides unique and dynamic training opportunities for participating military partners, while also promoting relationship-building between militaries and local communities.
