Philippine Navy Sailors with 3rd Battalion, Combat Engineer Brigade along with local Philippine volunteers and U.S. Marines with Combat Engineer Platoon, Marine Wing Support Squadron 172 work together to level the ground inside of a new classroom being built at the Elementary School of Maoyon in Palawan, Philippines on Sept. 24, 2014. The construction is part of the Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 15 which is an annual, bilateral training exercise conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include humanitarian and civic actions, disaster relief and contingency operations.
