I'm Senior Airman Hines. My usual work day ends at Seventeen-Hundred, but I was excited to get out early for a holiday weekend. I had a three hour drive ahead of me, I did a few errands and headed out.
I hadn't charged my phone all day, and the charger I had was loosely fitting. It kept falling out. It fell out one too many times, I reached over for it, and I came back up and I was halfway off the road. I jerked the wheel, and hit a sewer pipe with by back, right tire. I lost control of my car and flipped. The emergency responders got there, and before I was placed in the ambulance, I asked for my phone so I could call my supervisor to let him know where I was headed. I was lucky that day. I'm here to tell you, always have a backup plan, and not paying attention for any reason is a bad idea. Also available in high definition.
