Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 121 (VMFA-121) conducted its first operational F-35B Lightning II flight at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 21, 2013. VMFA-121 joined Marine Aircraft Group 13, Third Marine Aircraft Wing, in November 2012 as the Corp’s first operational F-35B squadron.
