1-87 Infantry holds a formal ceremony that many soldiers have been looking forward to since they joined the Army. The former combat service patch ceremony is a tradition that dates back to WWII. The companies proudly line up and unit commanders or a leader of the soldier's choosing places the 10th Mountain Division insignia upon their right shoulder, signifying they have served more than 30 days deployed with the unit. Available in high definition.
