Senator Sam Brownback (from Kansas) in Kuwait talks with a reporter from KWCH in Wichita, KS about his first trip overseas since the war started and what he expects to see when he is over there, which includes finding out information on how the United States is doing with keeping the troops well-armed in the field; how the Iraqi leadership is dealing with putting together its government; and puttting some time frames on how soon the U.S. can start pulling troops off the front line. Says he expects to hear that there will be Shi`ite leadership and everyone working together. He says he has already met with some Soldiers and the main message thus far is things are getting done and they are adjusting well to situation. Video from 14th Public Affairs Detachment.
