Non-narrative story follows Staff Sergeant Lawrence Lentz on drives through downtown Herat to assess school construction and other Coalition projects. He has lots of comments about the state of Afghan driving, describes a school project and talks about an encounter with a man who had a automatic weapon. He drinks tea with Afghan men and talks about the importance of social interaction, and how he offers advice to the Afghans on what they can do to improve their situation.
