As part of the status of forces agreement, American Security Forces are allowed to patrol off-base areas that are frequented by USFK personnel. They do this in cooperation with the Korean police to ensure the safety of everyone downtown. This video shows one patrol making their rounds through the entertainment district of Songtan.
