Gen. Gregory Guillot, commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM); Gen. Michael Hyldgaard, the Chief of Defense for the Kingdom of Denmark; and U.S. Air Force Lt. Gen. Robert Davis, commander of Alaskan NORAD Region, Alaskan Command and Eleventh Air Force, meet with senior defense leaders at Eielson Air Force Base and Alaskan Command (ALCOM) Headquarters, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 12-14, 2026. The leaders participated in an F-16 Fighting Falcon training flight and held bilateral discussions to coordinate Arctic security requirements, joint force readiness, and initiatives to enhance domain awareness across the Arctic and North Atlantic regions.
