B-roll footage shows U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District placement of beneficially used dredged material at Slip 3 in the Outer Harbor in Buffalo, New York, Aug. 19, 2026. The dredged material is part of an approximately $2.3 million dredging project that will remove about 190,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from federal navigation channels, with approximately 80,000 cubic yards beneficially used at the Buffalo Outer Harbor’s Slip 3 to support future coastal wetland habitat.
