Defense-industry partners test launch a cruise missile during a live-fire demonstration leveraging the Africa Multidomain Training and Experimentation Center Africa Multidomain Training and Experimentation Center at Tan-Tan, Morocco Aug. 6, 2026. AMTEC will provide the ideal environment for U.S. and Moroccan defense and technology industries along with academic institutions, to test, evaluate and iterate on emerging technologies, fostering innovation and collaboration. As one of the early contributions under the U.S. Army’s Test Range Expansion Initiative, the demonstration proves there is opportunity for defense industry to conduct testing that is difficult to replicate at many U.S. ranges, reinforcing Morocco’s role as a regional security leader.
