The Defense Logistics Agency’s Warfighter Talks are a recurring series under the Campaign of Learning that feature senior defense leaders who share strategic insights for supporting the Warfighter in a contested environment. For more information, please visit DLA’s Campaign of Learning webpage. In this talk, Command Sergeant Major JoAnn Naumann, Command Senior Enlisted Leader of U.S. Strategic Command, discussed how her transition from operator to enabler has allowed her to make more of an impact than she ever expected. She reminded DLA staff that people are always more important than hardware, and explained how taking care of yourself is a critical part of being an effective leader.
