U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), conduct an Individual Skills Competition at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, June 18, 2026. The competition tested Soldiers’ endurance, technical proficiency and lethality through a 10-mile ruck march, communications lanes, medical lanes and weapons qualification on the M4 carbine and various pistols. Soldiers who successfully completed the competition earned a one-of-a-kind 3rd Battalion belt buckle, recognizing their ability to perform under pressure and uphold the battalion standard.
