In honor of National Military Appreciation Month, U.S. and NATO forces spanning two European installations celebrate a pair of historic firsts. Chièvres Air Base, Belgium, hosted its inaugural joint Police Week featuring U.S. Air Force Security Forces and U.S. Army Military Police, while NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany, launched its first-ever First Responders Week. These inaugural events served to honor fallen comrades, showcase base defense capabilities, and demonstrate the unbreakable bond between joint and multinational forces.
