The Advanced Engineering Instructor Program offers a unique opportunity for qualified Surface Warfare officers, chief warrant officers, limited duty officers, and senior enlisted engineers to become recognized experts in their field. AEI will be a key pillar in the Surface Navy's ability to provide Combat Ready Ships through execution and planning of maintenance availabilities. AEIs will write, teach, and inform future capabilities developing engineering Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
