The Washington National Guard hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on Mar. 25, 2026 at Camp Murray, WA. The groundbreaking ceremony recognized what will result in a new Joint Force headquarters facility. The facility will host senior military leadership, staff of the Washington Military Department, and soldiers and airmen from the Army and Air National Guard. Retired U.S. Army Col. Adam Iwaszuk, Construction and Facilities Management Director delivered the opening remarks.
