U.S. Air Force Colonel Jared D. Thompson, United States National Military Representative (USNMR), and delegates from Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe and Mons, honored the 10th Rifle Battalion, the 3rd American Army, the 23rd Rifle Battalion and the British 21st Army Group at SHAPE, Belgium, March 11, 2026. This wreath-laying ceremony paid tribute to the efforts and sacrifices of these service members during World War II. This video is a part of the American Forces Network series Battle Brief which encourages members to discover the history around them.
