For more than a century, the Timberwolves trained the Soldiers who train the Army.
Soldiers of the 104th Training Division cased the division's colors at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Aug. 15, 2026, formally inactivating a unit that fought across Europe in World War II and spent the decades after building drill sergeants, cadets and Army leaders.
The colors are cased. The legacy stays in every leader the division trained.
