The Wasp (WSP) Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conduct landing craft, air cushion operations at Onslow Beach, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on April 15, 2024. The WSP ARG-24th MEU is conducting COMPTUEX, their final at-sea, certification exercise under the evaluation of Carrier Strike Group 4 and Expeditionary Operations Training Group. Rovaniemi, Finland— Six dozen personnel from the United Kingdom, Finland, Norway, Sweden and the United States attended a cyber defense training event in Rovaniemi, Finland during Exercise Nordic Response 2024 from 5 to 14 March, providing training for participating armed forces in protecting information systems and networks.
The Finnish Defence Forces C5 Agency hosted the event alongside the United States Marine Corps to provide a realistic training venue. Participating nations collaborated and shared lessons learned within the cyber domain while simulating defending national defense information systems from cyber threats.
