On Sept. 18, that team will step away from the demands of the workday to reconnect, recharge and celebrate one another as Organizational (Org) Day returns with its focus on morale, appreciation and connection.
September 2026 marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, The milestone marks 15 years of unified tri-service care following the historic 2011 consolidation of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center.
Soldiers assigned to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center held a brigade change of responsibility ceremony Sept. 16 at the Public Health Command’s soccer field, bidding farewell to the outgoing senior enlisted leader and welcoming the incoming command sergeant major.
The ceremony marked the transition of enlisted leadership from outgoing Command Sgt. Maj. Omar Oquendo to incoming Command Sgt. Maj. Joshua Bond.
