Sailors assigned to Commander, U.S. Third Fleet put together care packages for their shipmates serving as Individual Augmentee's. An IA is when a service member gets assigned to a unit in a combat zone in order to fill a shortage or the individual has a needed skill set. Vice Adm. Samuel Locklear, commander of U.S. Third Fleet, addresses members of Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 11 during a familiarization visit to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
