    INDIANA GUARDSMAN

Soldiers pilot Army fitness program; Central Indiana Boy Scouts of America donated more than $200,000 worth of popcorn to the Indiana National Guard and USO; 38th ID sends troops forward; Logistics Ball honors sustainers.

Camp Atterbury will play host to the U.S. Army North sponsored command-post exercise Vibrant Response and the U.S. Forces Command sponsored field-training exercise Guardian Response in April and May. The related exercises focus on managing expert chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosive forces designed to improve their ability to respond to catastrophic incidents. It is the largest and premier disaster-response exercise in the nation and includes partnerships between military — National Guard, reserve, active-duty — and civilian first-response organizations with more than 6,000 personnel.
