“Defense & Fraternity” is an Army-funded publication authorized in accordance with Army Regulation 360-1 intended for: uniformed members of the Department of Defense, U.S. Government civilians, contractors and liaisons working for U.S. Army South or in its Area of Responsibility and their family members. Defense and Fraternity is the authorized publication for U.S. Army South. U .S. Army South, as the Army Service Component Command for U.S. Southern Command, conducts Theater Security Cooperation in order to enhance hemispheric security and stability. On order conducts contingency operations as directed by U.S. Southern Command. The content of this publication is solely the responsibility of the U.S. Army South Public Affairs Office.
