    In 2026, the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, since the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Military Health System is joining the celebration by recognizing 250 years of military medicine.



    As we reflect on our nation’s past, we will speak with experts who identify the heroes in military medicine whose innovations and sacrifices have been pivotal in protecting the warfighter and liberties we hold dear.
