HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - The Los Angeles Film School will be holding their Veterans Day tribute to their student base of over 300 Combat Veterans this year at the Avalon Theatre and its adjacent Bardot Club in Hollywood. Each student is pursuing a degree in entertainment post-military service and will be the exclusive beneficiaries of blockbuster executives’ advice in entertainment within the realms of film, visual effects/animation, game production and recording arts.
“This is a unique opportunity for organizations and their leaders to get involved on Veterans Day. Reinforcing Hollywood’s commitment to our Combat Veterans and encouraging the next generation of entertainment industry professionals is gratifying and inspiring,” says Amber Chaib, the director of Military Affairs for The Los Angeles Film School. “The Annual Salute was created by the school to create positive industry exposure by celebrating our students’ service to our country, while giving these recently-transitioned combat veterans an opportunity to learn from seasoned entertainment professionals.
After serving our country in a time of war, they can now redirect their energies toward the industry that inspired their charge into the dynamic realm of entertainment.”
Student and graduate attendee entry to this event is limited to those with a military affiliation, who have attended The Los Angeles Film School or The Los Angeles Recording School.
